Dear Roosevelt Families,
We are excited to celebrate our Count Week with you all starting today, Wednesday, September 30th. Remember that Count Week determines our school’s funding for the 2021-2022 school year. Your students being in class every day will help us to fund our new curriculum, our building upgrades, our new technology, etc.
To celebrate this very important week, we are going to be providing prepackaged snacks each day for children in school and providing bear bucks to virtual students (to be used later as they see fit). In addition to the snacks, we will be holding a raffle for all students that are present tomorrow through Friday, either in-person or online. If your student is present each day, they will be eligible to win a new scooter or a new bike on Friday, October 2nd.
We will also be holding spirit days throughout the next week:
- Thursday, October 1st – Free No Uniform Day
- Friday, October 2nd – Crazy Hair Day
- Monday, October 5th – Western Day
- Tuesday, October 6th – Hat Day
- Wednesday, October 7th – 80’s/90’s Day
- Thursday, October 8th – Career Day
- Friday, October 9th - NO SCHOOL – TEACHER WORK DAY
